#ARTYPROJECT | UPDATE 2

Well, this is a little embarrassing.  I am late posting the next #artyproject update and I haven't got much to show for it either!  I have had other posts scheduled for the last few days, and it was just hard finding the time to work on the project, so I've only made a tiny bit of progress this time.
I've just made some quick sketches of people that are beauty influences to me, both to give me an idea of who I'd like to include in my final piece and to practise my drawing skills a bit - I haven't done any painting or anything in such a long time that I'm more than a little rusty.  The above quick drawing proves this, it's supposed to be Lana Del Rey but I can't decide if it looks more like Julianne Moore?!  Never mind, hopefully practise will make perfect in the end..!  I drew this using watercolour pencils without the water... weird I know but I was more bothered about practising drawing portraits again, and it turned out I had no bog standard colouring pencils.
Even though I've not made too much progress this time, I pretty much know now that I'll be combining the style of painting that I looked at in my previous update here, with portraits of people I look up to in terms of style, beauty etc.

The other lovely ladies involved are: Vicky,ZoeMaryamMannyUliEmmaMillieAnnabel, Clara, Jho
