Hello!  I hope that you’re having a good week, days seem to by flying by lately – I had a few days off last week and it already feels like a lifetime ago!  We made the most of it though by having drinks with friends, eating out and also by visiting the zoo (we’re big kids).  Unfortunately it was only a week after pay day, so I’m now running rather low with a long while left before I next get paid.  Poo.  So sadly for me I will be writing less of the haul kinda posts and probably something more like shopping the stash!  Which is a shame because I’ve got a beauty wishlist as long as my arm right now.  Anyway, back to my not-so-weekly favourites, and I’ve got a couple of fairly new products thrown in which I’m really pleased I discovered.
Super Facialist Rose Hydrate Intense Moisture Mask:  I have seen this mask floating around the blogosphere lately, but I bought it before having read barely any reviews of it.  I have had super dehydrated skin lately  and when I was taking advantage of the Boots 3 for 2 offer I picked it up hoping it would answer my prayers…and it has!  I have a full review of this planned in a day or two so I will be going into detail then, but I will say that it does what it says on the tube and gives my skin a boost without it leaving it red as some masks do (damn sensitive skin!).
Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer:  I bought this primer on a whim after becoming suspicious that my Laura Mercier Radiance Primer was the culprit causing me to break out, and I’m a little disappointed to say that all spots have since cleared up and no more have appeared – I so wanted it to be something else causing the spots!  It’s a shame that I won’t be using the Laura Mercier primer any more because I love other products by that brand, but the Rimmel one is ticking all the boxes right now.  It may not leave me with quite the radiant base for my make up, but it feels silky soft, applies amazingly well and it helps my foundation to last for the majority of the day.  Really recommend this, I think it may even be a repurchase in future!
Barry M Glossy Tubes: I love these little tubes!  They are SUPER glossy (like really, really glossy) and really make my lips pop, they are my go-to lately and they come in a good variety of colours – my favourite right now is this nude shade.
Barry M Glitter Nail Paint: How pretty is this rose gold glitter polish?!  I have actually nearly used this up, which never happens – most of my nail polishes end up going gloopy over time (naughty me for neglecting them for newer ones all the time).  I love using this over a simple french mani that I always have for work, it looks great just over the tips and adds some sparkle that’s not too OTT for daytime.
Benefit Cha Cha Tint: This is a repurchase, because I love the stuff so damn much.  The brush is a bit battered but I never use it, I usually apply this with my fingers.  I love to use it as much on my cheeks as I do on my lips, it’s a gorgeous coral colour that oozes summer and it can easily be built up depending on how bold I want it.  As with all Benefit pots like this, you need to be quick to blend it in but other than that it’s multitasking make up at it’s very best!
Do you like any of these products?  What have you been loving lately? xx
