So..who here likes rose gold?! I for one love it, and pretty much everywhere you go you can pick something up in the super pretty shade, whether it's an eye shadow palette or one of those Michael Kors watches. Now I never did treat myself to one of the watches, purely because my wrists are disproportionately boney and a chunky watch strap would look absolutely ridiculous, so I've compensated for this by getting my rose gold fix by other means instead. Here, I've thrown together a few of my favourite bits.
Make Up Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 palette (what a mouthful that is) is a bunch of shades that greatly resemble the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, at £4 it is only a fraction of the price. There are lots of shimmery copper and rose gold shades in there, as well as a couple of matte ones too - it's a super pretty palette with endless looks that can be created.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Sexy Sienna is a little bit of a cheat because it's not strictly a rose gold product, I'm just being really shallow and involving it here because of the stunning case! However, the shade is a lovely orange coral which hardly ever leaves my lips lately. The formula of Charlotte Tilbury's lipsticks is, in my opinion, second to none; they have a beautiful velvety matte finish which somehow creates the illusion of fuller lips, the pigmentation and payoff is fantastic, and they last for hours before they need reapplying.
The Seventeen nail polish in the shade Copper is one from a set that I got for Christmas, but I would think that it can be bought separately too. I love this shade as it's a darker rose gold with gold, coppery (obv) tones and a slight metallic shimmer. This also happens to be a shade that looks seriously good with a tan.
The second nail polish to feature here is a glitter topcoat by budget brand Essence, which is in the shade Get The Party Started. I love to wear this over a coat of bright pink polish or a pale pink/nude, or as a sparkly alternative to a french tip!
Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo in Pink Gold was a bit of a grower on me, I have to admit. At first I thought it wouldn't suit me and I would have preferred it to have more coppery tones in there, but I actually really like it, and wear both on my lids and underneath my lash line for a fresh summery look. This formula is perfect for hot weather like we are having this week, as it just does not budge. Creasing is minimal too, which is a big bonus for me.
I obviously had to include a couple of accessories in a post dedicated to rose gold, so I narrowed it down to this pair of pearl style earrings from H&M, and this statement necklace which is from Primark. These stand out nicely when worn with a simple white top/shirt and make any outfit instantly look 100% better!
I'd love to know what rose gold themed products you love so I can add to my ever growing collection! xx
