MINI HIGH END BEAUTY HAUL

Oops, so this appears to have happened!  I have my excuses ready for this naughty little haul though: I was off work sick (I'm still trying to decide whether to post about why or not - I'm definitely not used to writing more personal posts) and feeling sorry for myself, on strict orders not to move from bed (no complaints from me there) and bored watching things I wasn't actually that into on Netflix.  So, whilst casually browsing online I stumbled upon John Lewis, who happened to have one of their Price Match offers on which just happened to include make up!

Without much difficulty, I chose this beautiful Clarins bronzer compact from their new Aquatic Treasures collection.  How gorgeous is the delicate embossed pattern?!  Almost too good to use, I kind of just want to open it up and look at it without using it!  I haven't tried it out yet so a full review will come when I've given it a proper go.

I also picked up a YSL Sheer Candy lipstick, in this lovely juicy pink shade.  Despite how bold it looks, this is a glossy lipstick that has a buttery, moisturising feel and a sheer (hence the name) finish rather than a bright pop of colour.  A review and swatch of this will come too, but in the meantime let's just gaze lovingly at that amazing packaging...

I cannot wait to try these two products properly, they are going straight into my summer make up rotation and long may they stay there.  have you tried either of these?  What do you think of them? xx
