So I feel like my blogging mojo went a bit awol last week, I just wasn't feeling it that much - I partially blame my cold for this and also the all-consuming stress of trying to please everyone when organising the work xmas party (never volunteering to do that again!). However, I have since had a rare weekend off with my boyfriend which has been lovely and I'm feeling refreshed and ready to blog away again! Shopping may have helped with that, we went to Westfield Stratford City on Saturday which was super busy but still awesome so here are a few bits I treated myself to. Pictured above are the beauty bits, and below are some clothes I picked up; I thought I would just do one big post rather than split it into two.
Beauty wise, I picked up a new Maybelline Master Garphic eye liner pen, the second one I've owned (the first may have got lost) and I can honestly say that this is the stuff of Holy Grail proportions. That's right! The pen has a wide slanted tip that can be used to either create a bit bold line or a thin precise one with a perfect cat flick. The style of this product makes it ridiculously easy to create any kind of line, and the staying power is just fantastic - it does not budge one bit throughout the whole day. The colour is really bold too, pretty much like a marker pen and this is also the case when applying over eye shadow: sometimes pen liners don't apply very well on top of anything else but this is not a problem for this little beaut. I 100% recommend this - if you buy one new thing this week then make it this one!
Next, I decided to treat myself to a new foundation as I have been using the Jouer Matte Moisture Tint religiously all through summer and I just felt like trying something new. I picked up Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, £33, as I have read some good reviews on it and the light, dewy finish sounds perfect - a review will follow so watch this space! Strictly speaking I did not buy this Nails Inc polish in Tate - it is a free gift included with this month's Glamour mag (they always have to most generous freebies!). The colour looks like the ideal berry red shade for winter and I can't wait to start wearing it. Next there is my millionth repurchase of the Collection Lasting Perfecting Concealer in shade 01, no other concealer covers my dark circles as well! Then there is a little midi ring I picked up in River Island for £2, and a bunch of little earrings from Primark that cost £1.50 - a bargain considering there's a whole load of different types of studs and cute designs to choose from.
So then there is this rather beautiful Ted Baker purse in matte pink with rose gold clasp and beige interior, my old purse has been broken for sometime so when I saw this one in John Lewis it had to be mine! It was a major splurge at £85, but with the boyfriend's discount it took it down to £63 so that softened the blow a good bit. It's real leather (as it should be for that money hah!), and the design and finish is so neat and delicate - and the bow is just the cherry on top of the cake really! The white jumper is from Primark and I think it was £10, I love the quilted design and plan to wear it with some black skinny jeans for a good monochrome look. The grey jumper with little gem stones on it was £29.99 from Zara. It is one of the softest tops I've ever had, and the smart design is typical Zara and will be my go to winter warmer this year. The crochet style white and silver top was £24.99 from H&M, and I plan to layer it over black vest tops etc to create a casual yet sparkly daytime look - tis the season to sparkle after all! And finally..a hat! I am not a hat wearer at all usually, but I am always cold so I am going to try keeping my head warm with this bobble hat from Primark which was £5 I think. I love the black and purple colour and the chunky knit design, which I think will go well with a nice over sized scarf!
I definitely waffled on a bit there, oops. But there is my latest haul, a bit of a bank breaking one but I'll worry about that once the initial payday joy has worn off! What have you been buying lately? Link me to any hauls you have blogged/vlogged! xx
You got some gorgeous picks, I love primark jewellery and needs some new knits! Nothing better than shopping to cheer you up ;) xxx

That purse is absolutely lovely! Might have to add it to the Christmas list I think! :D
