Hey, happy Sunday! Today I have mostly been continuing to redecorate my room, but being the unfit biatch that I am, it was soon time for a rest so I decided to try out my latest splurge, the Illamasqua Cream Pigment in ‘hollow’. I have seen this product popping up a fair bit lately, including on one of my favourite beauty blogger’s (milkteef) posts. As someone who was not blessed with cheekbones but instead has something resembling hamster cheeks to work with, this contouring product seemed like my perfect solution so I just had to try it out.
I am very pale so I was a little worried about it being too dark for me but ‘hollow’ is actually a light shade that can be built up gradually if needed. I apply it with my fingers as for me it is more accurate and I can get the ‘cheekbone’ line exactly where I want it. The formula of the product makes it very easy to blend, and therefore it seamlessly becomes part of your base without looking fake. I am so pleased with this Cream Pigment, I can see that it is going to be an absolute staple in my make up routine now. It can also be used as a base for eye shadow, it is ideal for laying up with some bronze or neutral shades or even worn on it’s own. I used this today to contour and then to define it I layered on a little bronzer, and the result is what you can see in the photo.
If, like me, you haven’t got particularly strong cheekbones then I would really recommend trying ‘hollow’ out! It isn’t cheap at £17.50, but I think that it will last me for a vey long time; only a tiny amount is needed to contour, and it really is one of those things that to me has already proved itself to be worth every penny.
Have you tried ‘hollow’? What do you think of it? xx
That is actually such a lovely shade! you look like a model in the last pic <3 might have to check this out! I always contour so this is a must buy!
