Hydraluron Moisture Booster by Indeed Labs

Hey :)  I bought this on a bit of a whim really, I went to Boots to pick up some lip balm and it caught my eye (as IF I could only leave Boots with lip balm, it would be a wasted journey wouldn’t it?).  I remember vaguely seeing it reviewed by a couple of bloggers a while ago, but I decided to buy it because it sounded like it was just what my skin needed.

It claims to be one of the purest forms of hyaluronic acid (no I don’t know either), which can hold up to 1000x it’s weight in moisture.  So the idea is that you put some of this straight onto your skin before moisturising, and it absorbs quickly and gives your moisture levels a…..boost!

I suffer with dull skin, which is my fault because I am terrible at things like eating healthily and drinking enough water!  I can go for hours without feeling thirsty, which is pretty bad but I am really trying to make more effort and drink something like 2litres a day.  As for the healthy eating, well…I can go for around three days living on good wholesome foods usually, before I crack and call Dominoes.  Anyway, the point is that my skin is dull because I don’t always do things that should keep it hydrated and glowing.  So when I saw this Moisture Booster, I thought that must be just the thing I am looking for!  I have been using it for around 2 weeks so far, and I am relieved to say that I am very impressed with it, I dread buying expensive skincare/make up for the first time in case it is a let down!  But I am loving it, it sinks straight into my skin, so there is no annoyingly long wait until I can put my moisturiser on.  I have definitely noticed a difference in the look and feel of my skin.  It feels much softer straight away, and I’ve especially noticed this at night when I remove my make up which says to me that it’s working all through the day, rather than just a quick fix that is only noticeable in the morning.  My skin also looks a lot brighter too, which to me is the most important thing.  It really looks healthy now and it makes the rest of my make up look better as a result.  I have even been using some of my lighter coverage foundation lately as a result, and that is saying something because I love my full coverage!

I don’t know the science behind this product (even though the back of the box does do a good job of explaining it), but I would really recommend trying this product if you have dull skin that needs brightening up.  Obviously the results I have seen will be partly down to the fact that I am making a conscious effort to drink more water, but I am absolutely sure that this product has helped too.  It is well worth the £16 price tag in my opinion, and I would definitely buy it again!

Have you tried this product before?

  1. This sounds lovely! I'm glad I've found someone else who is bad at drinking water and things...I'm the same just never thirsty.

By the way, amazing and jelly at your LV find! xxx
