Hey! How great is this weather we’re having in the UK?! To be fair, many of the people around me are kind of melting in this mini heat wave, but I love it so in between work I have really been making the most of it. So naturally, this means that I had had to make a lot more effort with skin care and the whole fake tan regime (lazy girl’s nightmare).
I’ve known for a while now that it is best to exfoliate before moisturising and then tanning, so I was looking around for a good quality one that would also be kind to my fussy skin. Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub (£8, Boots) has had some glowing reviews on the blogger circuit, so I thought that I would give it a go and see what the fuss is about.
Firstly, for £8 it isn’t the cheapest scrub out there at all, so that is a little off putting for me straight away. But on the plus side: the packaging is cute and when I removed the lid – WOW the smell, it is amazing!! Really sweet and citrusy, I was a little tempted to eat it….but I didn’t as that would be strange and unpleasant.
The product is good, it does what it says it does and it does it well. My skin was silky smooth as using it, however I have seen similar results with the discount brand Dirty Works which costs a lot less. What gives this product the edge for me is the smell, and for this reason I will most probably be buying it again and also trying out a few other products of theirs too eventually.
Have you tried this product? xx

I definitely want to try this as well as The Breakfast Scrub as they both sound really good! £8 may seem steep too but I'd rather buy a S&G one that smells amazing than one from the Body Shop which is £13 :(
