Hey!  This is my first post for quite some time, it feels a bit weird trying to get back into writing up a post again, but I think a blogging break was just what I needed.  I was out of inspiration; it’s hard to come home and zone out of work and general life sometimes so I stopped trying to think of posts and decided to wait until ideas came to me!  I’ve also tried to cut back a little and save my money, which has kind of worked…except it hasn’t and I just ended up buying things that happened to not be make up!  I thought I would start with a little post about a few things I did cave in and buy recently, nothing major but good investments none the less.

Charles Worthington Salt Spray + Texturising Spray:  These products were on offer on and 2 for £8, and at £6.99 each that is a pretty good deal.  I have been looking for some texturising products for some time, but am not prepared to spend £30 on the famous Oribe one – no matter how many bloggers rave about it!  I saw Kayleigh over at CoutureGirl give this Charles Worthington Texturising Spray an amazing review, so I thought for the price that I had to give it a go.  I’m really interested to try the Salt Spray too, with summer just around the corner it’s the right time to try some more beachy hair styles.  I will do a full review of these products once I have tried them out properly.

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation:  I have used this foundation before, and really love it!  I bought a shade up from what I usually go for because I want some more colour in my base without going orange or doing a bad bronzing job!  I’m sure you’ve read a million and one reviews of this cult foundation, so I won’t go into it now, but it’s a beaut and just about worth the £31 price tag!

Topshop Lipstick in Macaroon:  This muted coral shade is gorgeous!  It’s been around for a long time now, I can’t believe I have only just discovered.  As always, the pigment in it is amazing and in my opinion totally on par with MAC..!

What have you been buying this month?  Have you tried any of these products? xx
