                                                    Hair band: Topshop
                                                         Top: Topshop
                                            Lipstick: Kate Moss for Rimmel
Hey everyone :) I’ve had this hair band for ages now and have never worn it anywhere!  So I thought I would get at least a little use from it by wearing for this outfit post!  I like how it looks with the new lipstick I bought, but I still don’t think I’ll be brave enough to wear it out just yet…it’s just a bit too OOT for work or shopping.  I really like it though, so I might try and somehow make it work with my Halloween outfit that I haven’t even got yet :|
I bought the top from Topshop a few weeks ago, it’s got the tapestry thing going on which I love, and in my nerdish mind it brings me a tiny bit closer to the Tudor Era (I’m so used to being like this that I’m not even embarrassed any more).  I love the peplum style as it gives a lovely shape that not too many of my clothes do, it’s very feminine and the pattern is just right for winter I think.  I’ve been neglecting to wear lipstick lately as well, and I bought this shade from the Kate Moss for Rimmel range and I think it is really good quality for the price, the pigment is great and it is pretty matte and bold.  I usually wear coral lips if any but this is definitely a new favourite!

4 Books
1.  It is impossible to pick only 4 books, as I love so many.  Umm first is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.  I love every single book 8-) , but there was quite a long gap between this book and the next, so I used to re-read it all the time and it became almost definitely an obsession (seriously, SO sorry for the ultra nerd in me coming out so much today).
2. Birdsong by Sebastian Faulkes.  I read this when studying WWI and is just so well written and creates such a graphic and realistic picture of the war that it stayed in my head for ages after I had read it.
3. The Lady in the Tower: The Fall of Anne Boleyn.  I won’t even explain this one. :)
4. Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella.  A chick lit novel on the outside but it has a really lovely message I think. xx
