REVIEW | KEVYN AUCOIN CELESTIAL BRONZING VEIL

I literally haven't been able to control my spending lately, this time I upset my bank balance by giving in to this beautiful product; the Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Bronzing Veil, £38 Space.NK.  I was on the lookout for a new bronzer as I hit pan with my much-loved Benefit Hula, and when I saw this I had to have it, the graduated colour is just gorgeous!  Obviously as I'm very fair I look for light bronzers that will look natural rather than too dark or orange on my skin, and this is just right.  It is a soft golden shade that blends beautifully, and adds a gentle, subtle sheen rather than a false looking shimmer that many bronzers have.  I apply it down my cheekbones, by pouting to actually find where that is (#hamstercheekproblems) and then sweep a little down my nose and chin - basically anywhere where the sun would naturally hit you.  The colour can be built up if you like, I leave it as it is on me but there is scope for it to be used to create a full blown Kim K glow.  I especially love the finish of this product, the sheen adds a natural looking dewiness to my skin and this eliminates the need for me to use any highlighter.  It is clearly a splurge at £38, however the quality of it exceptional - it is the best bronzer I've ever used for my skin tone, so I do think that I will get my money's worth out of it.  As I only use one sweep of it at a time, it will also last for a long time, so I'm assuming my cost per wear will work out pretty good!

I will be posting a Face of The Day later in the week so you will be able to see what it looks like on then - unfortunately lighting failed me today!

Have you tried the Celestial Bronzing Veil?  Is it something that you would buy? xx
