Hey!  I promise Topshop haven’t paid me to do this post hahah… it’s purely a coincidence that my whole outfit today is from there!  Also quite a dramatic change of background today, I just got suddenly really bored taking photos at the same plain wall that didn’t have very good lighting near it anyway so I relocated to my room for a change.  The person in the photo on the wall that stands out rather a lot is Faye my best friend and it’s a photo taken on our last day of primary school!  There were a lot more photos up there but as you can see from the gaps some have fallen off and I can’t reach them down the tiny gap so it was a case of ‘if something’s hard to do then it’s not worth doing’ in the words of Homer Simpson.  

 

Random/pointless fact of the day: On the other side of the room that you cannot see sits a very large movie poster of The Shining, the ‘Heeeeeeere’s Johnny!’ scene to be exact.  That’s the sort of thing I like on my walls (!).  Once, Faye was round (who won’t watch horror films) and something in my room crashed to the floor.  Faye screamed and when I asked why she said that she assumed the noise was ‘Jack Nicholson coming out of the poster’.  The saddest part of all this is that I’m sat here chuckling at the story and you have probably stopped reading already…! 

 

Back to the outfit then before I drift off onto another silly tale.  It’s quite a simple outfit that I kind of just threw on quickly before taking the puppy for a walk in the snow, I found the gilet and the leggings on the same rail in the Topshop sale and I was sooo pleased because the gilet especially was something I’d had my eye on for ages!
